Comparative assessment of the long-term effects of 5% sodium fluoride varnishes with and without tricalcium phosphate on enamel microhardness of primary teeth: An in vitro study.
Researchers tested three fluoride varnishes on extracted primary molars through repeated remineralization-demineralization cycles. Parla varnish, which contained tricalcium phosphate, produced greater and more sustained enamel hardness increases than the other two varnishes tested.
