Probable sleep bruxism in children in the mixed dentition stage: prevalence and association with the risk for obstructive sleep apnea-a cross-sectional study.
Researchers examined sleep bruxism signs in 281 Lebanese children aged 6–10 years and assessed associations with obstructive sleep apnea risk using parent questionnaires. While 61.2% showed probable sleep bruxism and those with bruxism had higher sleep apnea risk scores, the association was not statistically significant.
