Oral health awareness and behaviors in professional orchestra musicians in Germany: findings from an online survey study.
A survey of 494 German professional orchestra musicians found most rated their oral health as good, yet over one-third reported orofacial pain, with string players affected more frequently. While awareness of instrument-related oral health risks was high, most musicians felt poorly informed, and preventive dental care uptake was modest.
