Systemic Factors Associated with Caries Outcomes: Toward a Medically Integrated Risk Model Using Electronic Health Record Data.

Journal of dentistry · Babiceanu L, Ansari T, Small ML, Perelman S · 2026-08-05

Multiple conditions including hypertension, diabetes, and HIV, plus certain medication classes, showed significant associations with caries measures, with age modifying many of these relationships.
