Oral mucosal lesions among dental outpatients in Al-ahsa, Saudi Arabia: prevalence, clinical patterns and associated determinants: a cross-sectional study.
Researchers examined 462 dental patients in Saudi Arabia and found oral mucosal lesions in 46.3%, most commonly linea alba, melanin pigmentation and bone exostosis. Lesions were more prevalent in males, adults, those with lower education levels and employed individuals.
