Self-Reported Oral Manifestations and Preventive Dental-Care Practices Among Pregnant Women in Romania: A Cross-Sectional Study.
A Romanian study of 101 pregnant women found that gingival bleeding and swelling were commonly self-reported, while most brushed teeth only once daily and avoided interdental cleaning. Twice-daily brushing showed associations with reduced gingival bleeding and greater perceived oral-health impact.
