Marginal and Internal Fit, Surface Roughness and Fracture Resistance of Hybrid Dental Crown Materials Fabricated With Milling and 3D‐Printing Systems: An In Vitro Study

Australian Dental Journal · Abdullah M. Al‐Rifai, Ahed Al‐Wahadni, Abedelmalek Tabanjah · 2026-05-07

Researchers compared three hybrid crown materials (two milled, one 3D-printed) for marginal fit, internal fit, surface smoothness, and fracture resistance. Vita Enamic milled crowns showed superior fracture strength, while Cerasmart milled crowns had smoother surfaces but larger internal gaps and weaker fracture resistance.
