G-Computation Quantifying Caries Reduction by World Health Organization Sugar Limits in Children

Researchers used Australian cohort data to model how reducing free sugar intake to WHO-recommended levels at age 2 would decrease cavity surfaces by age 5, finding reductions of 1.3–1.5 surfaces in general populations and 4.4–4.5 in high-risk children.
