Does adding a mandibular mentoplate improve long-term Class III treatment?

Researchers compared two appliance combinations (hybrid Hyrax with facemask versus hybrid Hyrax with mentoplate) for treating skeletal Class III in children over five years. Both approaches produced similar improvements in skeletal correction, with facemask treatment showing slightly better results that diminished over time.
