High-Dimensional Effect Heterogeneity of Tooth Loss on Mortality

Among older Japanese adults, tooth loss was associated with a 3.2 percentage-point increase in all-cause mortality over nine years, with stronger effects observed in men, those in poor health, and those with lower socioeconomic status.
