Predatory Publications Bias the Findings of Orthodontic Meta-analyses
Researchers examined how often predatory or suspect journal publications appear in orthodontic systematic reviews with meta-analyses (2020–2023) and found they were present in one-third of meta-analyses, with removal of these studies changing pooled effect estimates in most cases.
