Testing the accuracy of Cameriere's original and European formulae radiographic method of dental age estimation.

Researchers compared two radiographic methods for estimating children's dental age using 661 archived radiographs. Both methods performed well for children aged 6–13 years, but significantly overestimated age in younger children, with the European formula proving more accurate overall.
