Remineralization patterns in artificial dentin caries lesions treated with fluoride- and tricalcium phosphate-based varnishes or silver diamine fluoride: an in vitro micro-CT study.
An in vitro study compared how four remineralizing agents affected artificial dentin caries lesions under pH cycling conditions. Sodium fluoride varnish achieved the most even mineral recovery throughout lesions, while tricalcium phosphate, combined formulations, and silver diamine fluoride each produced distinct remineralization patterns with varying effectiveness.
