Oral health knowledge, attitudes, and practices across four communities in the Western Cape, South Africa: A cross-sectional study.

Researchers surveyed 776 adults across urban and semi-rural Western Cape communities, finding moderate oral health knowledge and daily toothbrushing but low dental floss use and infrequent dentist visits. Semi-rural residence, female gender, and poor health status were associated with higher odds of oral pain.
