Treatment effects of the Sander II appliance in class II therapy : A cephalometric, retrospective case-control study.

A retrospective study compared 102 class II patients treated with the Sander II appliance to 64 untreated controls, finding that the appliance corrected the skeletal relationship primarily through mandibular advancement and maxillary growth restriction, with upper incisor retroinclination contributing minimally to overjet improvement.
