Researchers examined fluoride levels in drinking water and dental fluorosis prevalence among 1,182 schoolchildren aged 12–15 years across villages in India, finding fluorosis in 66.5% of children with a strong positive correlation between water fluoride concentration and fluorosis severity, even at supposedly optimal fluoride levels.
