A Saudi Arabian survey of 1,064 adults found that 46.9% reported perceived bad breath, with stronger associations to poor self-rated oral health and infrequent tooth brushing than to age or systemic factors. Participants perceiving poor oral health were 14 times more likely to report bad breath than those rating their oral health as good.
