Prevalence and Pattern of Tobacco-Related Habits Among Dental Students: A Cross-Sectional Questionnaire Survey.

A survey of 370 dental students in Southern India found that 8.6% currently smoked cigarettes, 23.2% were former smokers, and 1.1% chewed tobacco, with over half of current users having never attempted to quit.
