A bibliometric analysis of 295 publications on miswak (*Salvadora persica*) revealed that research output has increased significantly since 2014, with studies primarily originating from Saudi Arabia, India and Egypt and centred on antimicrobial properties, preventive practices and gingival health outcomes.
