Orodispersible lidocaine film in palatine nerve block: a randomized, controlled and blind clinical trial.
Researchers compared four different pre-treatment approaches for palatine nerve blocks during gingival graft surgery. Patients receiving a lidocaine-containing oral film experienced significantly less injection pain than those receiving no pre-treatment, placebo film, or conventional anaesthetic gel.
