Assessment of AI-based cephalometric landmark recognition on lateral cephalometric radiographs.

An AI program was tested for accuracy in identifying 19 cephalometric landmarks on lateral cephalometric radiographs, compared against manual tracings. The AI showed high agreement with manual methods, with most landmarks identified within a clinically acceptable 2 mm deviation.
