Among US survey participants, people reporting sleep disorders had higher odds of tooth looseness, with metabolic dysfunction (measured by insulin resistance) statistically accounting for roughly a quarter of this association. The findings suggest a potential metabolic pathway linking sleep problems to tooth looseness, though causality cannot be determined from this cross-sectional data.
