Non- and minimally invasive management of hypersensitivity in molar-incisor hypomineralisation (MIH) at home and in clinical practice: a systematic review.
Researchers systematically reviewed treatments for tooth sensitivity in molar-incisor hypomineralisation, identifying seven randomised controlled trials testing fluoride toothpaste, hydroxyapatite, CPP-ACP paste, photobiomodulation, silver diamine fluoride, sealants and glass ionomer materials. All treatments reduced sensitivity compared to baseline, though evidence quality was limited by small sample sizes and methodological limitations.
