Children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder showed poorer oral health-related quality of life, with dental caries, lower income, older age, male sex, and reduced parental oral health literacy linked to worse outcomes; preventive interventions and comprehensive dental rehabilitation improved quality of life for children and families.
