Vitamins A- and C-augmented platelet-rich fibrin in periodontal intraosseous defects: A randomized clinical trial.
Researchers compared vitamin A and C–enhanced injectable platelet-rich fibrin with standard injectable platelet-rich fibrin, both combined with minimally invasive surgery, for treating bone defects in periodontitis patients. The vitamin-augmented approach produced greater improvements in bone fill and clinical attachment level at six to nine months.
