Oral Health Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices Among Male Primary School Students in Saudi Arabia: A School-Based Cross-Sectional Study.

Dentistry journal · Alsharif MKS, Nazan AINM, Azman AZF · 2026-08-19

Saudi researchers surveyed 430 male primary school students' oral health knowledge, attitudes, and practices, finding positive attitudes but widespread knowledge gaps (only 8.4% knew when sweets should be eaten) and poor practices (33.3% brushed for recommended duration). Older age, lower household income, and divorced parental status showed independent associations with oral health outcomes.
