This retrospective study of 40 children receiving dental or minor oral surgery examined whether nitrous oxide and/or midazolam sedation could enable treatment completion without escalating to deeper sedation or general anesthesia. All 60 procedures were completed successfully with minimal side effects and no need for escalation.
