Radiological and Histological Findings of Primary Pleomorphic Rhabdomyosarcoma Arising from the Mandibular Gingiva: A Case Report and Literature Review.

A rare high-grade muscle tumour arising in the mandibular gingiva of a 66-year-old woman was initially mistaken for dental infection, then for oral cancer on imaging. Histopathology confirmed pleomorphic rhabdomyosarcoma; the patient underwent surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy with no recurrence at 8 months.
