The use of canine dimensions as markers for sex estimation in biological profiling.

Researchers measured canine tooth dimensions in 280 Ghanaian adults and found several canine measurements showed sexual differences, with left upper canine width alone correctly predicting sex in approximately 66% of cases, suggesting canine dimensions could contribute to forensic sex estimation when combined with other indicators.
