Optical Coherence Tomography for Dynamic Monitoring of Resin Infiltration Kinetics: An Exploratory Ex Vivo Study.

Researchers used optical coherence tomography to track how etching and resin infiltration penetrate enamel lesions of different depths, finding that OCT-guided individualized infiltration outperformed conventional approaches for shallow lesions but showed similar results for deeper lesions.
