Impact of war on oral health among the Gaza population: a comparative cross-sectional study.

Researchers surveyed 599 Gaza residents about oral health before and during the 2023-2024 war, finding dramatic deterioration across all measured domains: severe pain rose from 6.5% to 73.8%, twice-daily brushing dropped from 77.5% to 9.5%, and unmet dental care needs increased from 11.7% to 92.7%.
