Fruit and vegetable consumption frequency and tooth-loss transitions across baseline dentition strata in older Chinese adults: a prospective cohort study.

Among older Chinese adults with few baseline teeth (1–19), more frequent vegetable consumption showed a weak inverse association with progression to complete tooth loss, while fruit consumption showed no clear relationship; associations were weaker in those with more baseline teeth.
