Among HIV-positive adults in Nigeria with oral lesions, fewer than 60% had good knowledge about these conditions, and only about one-quarter sought healthcare within two weeks of developing symptoms. Poor oral hygiene and low CD4 counts were significant predictors of oral lesion occurrence.
