External cervical resorption treatments in routine dental practice: a nationwide registry-based cohort study with long-term follow-up.
Swedish registry data revealed that among 14,881 teeth diagnosed with external cervical resorption, 57% received conservative treatment and showed 83% survival at 5 years, 75% at 10 years, and 68% at 15 years, with age, tooth count, molar location, and surgery associated with higher extraction risk.
