Association between triglyceride-glucose-related indices and all-cause and cause-specific mortality among individuals with periodontitis: A population-based study.
Among US adults with periodontitis, higher triglyceride-glucose index and related measures combining glucose-triglyceride metabolism with body measurements were associated with increased all-cause and cardiovascular mortality over 14 years of follow-up, with triglyceride-glucose-waist-to-height ratio showing the strongest associations.
