Clinical comparison of mouthrinse and orodispersible film containing cystatins and a statherin-derived peptide against initial dental erosion.
Researchers compared a mouthrinse and a film-based product, both containing protective proteins and peptides, against initial tooth erosion in ten participants across multiple treatment phases. The film formulation proved more effective at preventing calcium loss and was preferred by users, while both products offered erosion protection comparable to or better than standard fluoride controls.
