Clinical efficacy of silver fluoride pretreatment on hypersensitivity relief and success of glass hybrid restorations in MIH-affected molars: A randomized controlled split-mouth clinical trial.
Researchers compared glass hybrid restorations with and without silver fluoride–potassium iodide pretreatment for hypersensitive molar incisor hypomineralization–affected teeth in children. Both approaches similarly reduced sensitivity and achieved comparable clinical success at 12 months, with pretreatment offering no added benefit.
