Three-dimensional alveolar ridge morphology of maxillary lateral incisors in children for autotransplantation.
Researchers analyzed cone-beam CT scans of 202 maxillary lateral incisors in children aged 10–13 years and found the labial bone plate was consistently thin (0.48–1.04 mm) while the palatal plate was thicker (2.50–2.89 mm), with some greater ridge dimensions in boys at ages 10–11.
