Avian mesenchymal stem cell-derived extracellular vesicle alleviates the Porphyromonas gingivalis lipopolysaccharide induced gingival fibroblast senescence.
Researchers exposed human gingival fibroblasts to bacterial lipopolysaccharide to induce inflammation and ageing, then tested whether extracellular vesicles from treated avian stem cells could reduce these harmful effects. The vesicles successfully reduced inflammatory markers, senescence indicators, and telomere shortening.
